What is it about humans that makes us long to be immortal?
Did it start in the garden after the fall? After we lost it all? Or is it something we seek because of greed?
Whether statues are erected or not, every single person on this earth no matter their color, stature, wealth or lack thereof wants to be remembered. I believe that it is an innate longing within us.
It is like breathing an involuntary action or need.
Why do you think it is so important to some of us to leave behind a legacy?
If “We are born to die and we live to suffer,” what’s the purpose of life? Why are we all here?
Please pardon my bluntness, but life is so much more than that ignorant statement.
But you have to make up your mind to find out what IT is.
LIVE life in CONSTANT DISCOVERY!
I have often wondered if those great heroes and heroines ever struggled with charting their own courses in life.
If they ever struggled with the feelings of not knowing what’s next or what is coming.
Or did they even know that their names would live on in history books and that youth would revere and debate their choices for centuries that would follow?
They couldn’t have known that their simple actions could spark movement or provoke thought for generations thereafter.
Nor were they aware of the significance or the weight of their words or how deeply they would inspire us to live up to or even aspire to.
Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”
The truth is YOU CAN LIVE FOREVER…
BLAZE the trail TODAY!
